We love our volunteers! This work only happens when we do it together. We have opportunities for volunteering for everything from office work, to serving meals, to hanging out with our kids on Sundays or running some of our tech on Sunday mornings! Scroll down and contact us if you’re interested!

Shelter & Resource Center Opportunities

Looking to work closely with your local community members? We have available volunteer spots for both of our shelters and our daily resource center. If you’re interested in donating a meal or serving, check out the links below!

Donations

If you’re looking to donate items - we can always use basic clothing like tennis shoes, underwear, socks, jeans, and t-shirts! Must be clean and in good condition. We do not allow unscheduled drop offs. Please call us first to see if we have room to take your items. 510-634-4750. Other items we may be able to accommodate:

  • Outerwear

  • Rain ponchos

  • Food (unexpired)

  • Boots/Flip Flops

  • Sunscreen, fans/misters

  • Personal hygiene items

Items we do not take:

  • Children’s items/toys/clothes

  • Household items

  • Worn undergarments

  • Fancy dresses, costumes, or high-heeled shoes
